I must start this review off by saying that every time we use Green Chef we are so impressed with the incredible quality of the ingredients that they supply. It was reassuring to see that the cod fish was vacuum packed to ensure its freshness until it was used. Also, the produce was just lovely. The kale leaves were huge and so fresh to taste.
I was a little reluctant initially to try this dish as normally I am not a fan of cod fish, but I was so glad I ordered this one as the whole meal was delicious. The cod itself was finished with an appetizing almond crust flavoured with a fabulous southwestern seasoning. It was a great way of introducing a wonderful mouth feel to this meal and a very clever way of keeping the dish low carb for those following a keto diet.
There was also a lovely fresh element that came with the two side dishes to the fish. The kale salad was loaded with a generous amount of avocado and the zucchini and red onion gave the whole dish a real zing! This dish was a really appealing keto offering from the Green Chef team.
