This steak dish was one of our selections from the Green Chef keto and gluten-free menu. It was delicious and included some unique flavors. The dish was inspired by Mexican cuisine and included a mole spice blend rub made from chili powder, cumin, cocoa powder, and paprika.
We also loved the way this dish was served with a fried organic egg on top. It was both beautiful to the eye and very appealing to our taste buds.
The dish was very easy to cook. We simply seasoned and cook the steak, sautéed the vegetables, warmed the enchilada sauce, fried the egg and then plated and enjoyed the meal. It was ready in about 30 minutes, which is ideal for a busy mid-week evening meal.
As is usual with the Green Chef meal kit delivery service, we were impressed by the quality of ingredients in our order. Everything was super-fresh, and the quality of the sirloin steak was amazing. It is important to note that all Green Chef’s ingredients are organic, and USDA approved, which is just one of the reasons as to why we are comfortable with recommending their service.
