Best Products to Clean Up your Kitchen Mess

There is no doubt that using a meal kit service makes cooking as easy as possible. Also, all meal kits delivery companies make a big effort in creating recipes that don’t require you leaving behind a big mess in your kitchen.

Having said that, you can’t escape some mess while cooking dinner, so I am here to tell you what I think are the 5 essential products you must have, in order to get that kitchen tidy again, after the cooking is done!

Steel wool soap pad

From years of experience, I know that using steel wool soap pads is the most efficient and effective way of cleaning dirty pots and pans. They make sure you can easily remove even the most stubborn dirt.

Liquid Dish soap

when it comes to cleaning dishes, I prefer using a liquid dish soap that contains all-natural Mrs. Meyer’s liquid dish soap is one of the best you can get. It’s 97% naturally derived, Free of Phthalates, Glycol Solvents, Chlorine, Formaldehyde, Artificial Colors and Parabens. On top of all that, the scent is great! Disinfecting wipes

Whether I need to clean up the countertop after chopping, or mixing a dressing, or I need to clean the stove top after cooking – the most effective way for me to do this is by using disinfecting wipes! They are very easy to use and do a great job of cleaning. Plus, they have a very strong disinfectant smell which is great to remove the smell of cooking which is not something I like very much at all.
Clorox disinfecting wipes:

Trash Bags

I am a big fan of scented trash bags, because they do a great job in hiding the smell of trash, especially food scraps. I usually use the Glad OdorShield Drawstring Trash Bags – they have a fresh clean scent and are very strong so you don’t have to worry about the bags breaking.

Scented candle

My secret for retaining a fresh smell in my household is lightning a scented candle for about an hour after the kitchen is clean. I really swear by this trick – you must try it! Something so simple, but it makes a real difference. You don’t need to spend lots of money on fancy candles; Mrs. Meyer’s candles do a fantastic job. I personally love the Lemon-Verbena scent but there are a large variety of scents for you to choose from:
