My Honest Review:
One of the number one reasons I love using meal kit delivery services is that by using them, you open yourself up to new flavors and experiences in the kitchen.
For example, I have never tasted millet before and thought this recipe offered me a great chance to try something new. The millet was a little like cous-cous and had a delicious nutty flavor with a great mouth feel. It was ideal to be used as a bed for this curry.
The smell of this curry while I was cooking it, was simply superb. The house was filled with tantalizing aromas. As per usual with Plated, the quality of all the ingredient including the shrimp was of the highest standard. The only criticism that I had of this dish, was that it was a little bit on the mild side. But I easily fixed that with the addition of some chilli flakes.
It was surprisingly easy to cook and only took about 35 minutes. All that was needed was to cook the millet in a separate saucepan and to put together the curry casserole. This is a great dish for seafood lovers as the shrimp went so well with the flavor of the curry sauce.
