My Honest Review:

Everything looked so fresh! The mini colorful potatoes and the Brussels sprouts looked so appetizing. At the moment my husband is trying to reduce gluten in his diet. So since this dish was gluten free  I was certain that it was going to be a great match for us.  We were really looking forward to trying this dish, but I have to say that I was disappointed and that it was primarily because of the cod fish.

Unfortunately, the fish tasted like it had been frozen and it did not appear to be fresh, like I am used to getting normally with Plated and the other meal kit services that we regularly try. The texture of it was unappealing in that it was a little gooey and had quite a distinctive after taste.

What saved the day was the amazing Brussels sprouts – they were fresh and delicious.  They were served with an amazing sherry vinegar and a honey and roasted almond crush, and finished with melted Manchego cheese. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, and I would certainly cook that part of the dish again on my own.
