Review: Sun Basket Salmon Meal Kit
This type of dish is what we call great clean eating.
It was no surprise to receive this kind of meal from Sun Basket, which is known as one of the healthiest eating meal kit services. The recipe was full of “good-for-you” ingredients, served in an appealing, fast and super easy to cook way. The rainbow quinoa with celery and chickpeas was already cooked and ready to be heated in the oven or microwave for a few minutes. All we needed to cook was the wild Alaskan salmon fillets over a hot pan and then add the kale. That was it!
Dinner was served in no time, along with the special Sun Basket citrus dressing.
The quinoa was delicious. The texture was perfect, and we loved the extra protein from the chickpeas. The salmon was delicious; it appeared to be of high quality and very fresh. For us, what gave this meal extra points was the simple yet amazing citrus dressing. This tasty dressing is one of the many Sun Basket special sauces. This recipe is also suitable for a gluten-free, dairy-free and soy-free diet.
