My Honest Review:
A real food trend of late that I really enjoy is using cauliflower as an alternative to the more carb heavy ingredients such as rice, cracked wheat and things like couscous.
The result is a dish that is very tasty but contains a lot fewer carbs and carbohydrates. My husband and I really enjoyed the cauliflower tabbouleh instead of the traditional version and we found that this was a very enjoyable dish from Green Chef.
The garlic and herb tahini gave the dish a real tang and there were some lovely Mediterranean influences in the flavoring along with the inclusion of kalamata olives. Raw cucumber also gave the dish a lovely sense of freshness and added a lovely crunch!
My only criticism of this dish and it is more of a personal preference, was that I found the dish a little dry and I thought it could have done with some additional sauce. I do tend to like my proteins swimming in sauce, whereas my husband enjoyed it as is!
Overall it was a satisfying meal and another very appealing option for those who are following a keto diet.
