We thought this red curry shrimp dish from the RealEats meals collection was super tasty!


To be honest, it was our first time trying RealEats, and we were curious to see if it was any good. The idea of cooking food in vacuum-packed bags is a relatively new concept here in the US and there aren’t many meal delivery companies to offer such a concept. When we received our delivery, we were a little anxious as the food in the bags didn’t look very attractive.

But – and it’s a big but.

the end result was very good, it was super fresh and tasted simply delicious. This cooking method keeps the food fresh and better reserves all the nutritional benefits of each ingredient in the meal.

This Thai-inspired dish was a perfect combination of mild spicy red curry shrimp, seasonal freshly sautéed vegetables and basmati brown rice. The curry was fragrant with lemongrass and ginger and the shrimps were soft, moist and full of flavor.

This meal is not only delicious and satisfying but also a great low-calorie option with only 350 calories per serving. Definitely a good option for those of you who are looking to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
