If your family loves Mexican food, but you struggle to come up with creative meal ideas, you’ll want to check out the three meal services listed below.
#1 Hello Fresh Mexican Meals
Hello Fresh is one of the most popular meal delivery services available today. When ordering, customers can choose from one of three plans:
- Classic Plan
- Veggie Plan
- Family Plan
All meals cost $6.99 to ship. The Classic Plan costs $8.99 per serving and is ideal for either two or four people. Customers can choose from two, three, or four meals per week. The Vegetable Plan costs the same as the Classic Plan. Although it is available for two or four people, customers are required to order three meals per week.
The Family Plan costs $7.87 per serving. This plan is only available for those looking to serve four people with each meal, although they can choose between two and three recipes per week.
Our two favorite Mexican-style Hello Fresh meals were the Veggie Burrito Bowls and the Mexican Chicken and Rice Bowl.
Hello Fresh Veggie Burrito Bowls
These bowls are available under all three of the Hello Fresh Plans. They carry a “Hall of Fame” rating because of how frequently customers order them. The kit comes with everything you need to prepare a delicious bowl, from black beans to hot sauce. The preparation time for this meal is approximately 35 minutes.
Hello Fresh Mexican Chicken and Rice Bowl
This bowl is an exciting menu offering from Hello Fresh, as it carries a “Dinner 2 Lunch” label. This label indicates that the company provides you enough food for dinner one night and lunch the next.
Your taste buds will explode when you taste the spiced chicken and fluffy turmeric rice. The preparation time is roughly 45 minutes.
#2 Home Chef Mexican-Style Meals
Home Chef provides users with significant customization, as customers can choose up to 26 weekly choices. Meals fluctuate in price, although they begin at $7.99 per serving.
Additionally, if you order more than $45 worth of meals in a week, Home Chef will waive your shipping costs. Three Mexican-style dishes stood out to us when we reviewed Home Chef
Home Chef Baja Shrimp Bowl
The Baja Shrimp Bowl is a seafood-inspired Mexican dish created by Chef David Padilla. The recipe contains a mild spice level. Customers can expect the prep time for this meal to range between 25 and 35 minutes, although the dish is easy to create. There are 21 grams of protein per serving in this bowl. The bowl has a mild spice level. Customers will also need to provide a few things on their own, including:
- Mixing Bowls
- One small pot
Home Chef Chicken Mole Tacos
Home Chef’s Chicken Mole Tacos are a delicious option that features pickled jalapenos and carrots. The preparation and cook time range from 20 to 30 minutes. The dish features a mild spice level and an astounding 56 grams of protein per serving.
Like with the Baja Shrimp Bowl, customers will need to provide a few ingredients that don’t come included.
Home Chef Turkey and Guacamole Tostadas
Many people may not associate turkey with Mexican dishes, but Chef Nigel Palmer managed to create a fantastic recipe that is sure to become one of your favorites. The preparation for this dish is a bit more complicated than others.
Home Chef grades it as “Intermediate,” and says that the preparation time ranges from 35 to 45 minutes. The dish contains 42 grams of protein and does not include any spices.
There are pros and cons to each food service. After sampling many dishes, we feel that the eight menu options we’ve provided are some of the most delicious available. They’re easy to prepare and even easier to eat!
